Antonio Carta is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa, and a member of the Computational intelligence and Machine Learning group (CIML) and the Pervasive AI Lab (PAILab). He is the lead maintainer of Avalanche, an open source library on continual learning developed by ContinualAI. His main research interests are online, decentralized, and semi-supervised continual learning, with applications on computer vision and time series.
